1.As a Lecturer in the Department of General Education (GED) at Southern University Bangladesh (July 2025 – Present), based in Chattogram, I teach a range of Science and Engineering‐related courses, including Environmental Science, Basic Science, and Mathematics, to students from BBA, BA, and LLB programs. I am actively involved in academic and research activities, student mentorship, and academic project coordination, while incorporating advanced technological and analytical tools to enhance learning experiences and support students’ academic and professional development.
2.From August 2024 to July 2025, I served as a full-time Research Assistant at the Institute of Marine Sciences (IMS), University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, under the PLEASE Project, specifically contributing to the “Community-based Reduction of Plastic Pollution (CROPP)” sub-project in Chattogram. My responsibilities included conducting multi-stakeholder engagement research focused on sustainable plastic waste management, facilitating community collaboration, and supporting the implementation of strategies designed to reduce environmental pollution and promote sustainable coastal practices.
3.From July 2024 to June 2025, I worked as a Consultant for the Swatch of No Ground MPA Management Support Project under the Leibniz Center for Tropical Marine Ecology (ZMT), University of Bremen. In this role, I developed, organized, and delivered kick-off workshops and MPA management training programs across Khulna, Chattogram, and Dhaka, overseeing logistics such as accommodation, venue arrangements, and catering, along with administrative responsibilities including official letters, permits, and contracts. I also managed workshop budgets, monitored financial adjustments, and coordinated follow-up activities with participants and local stakeholders to support effective marine protected area management in Bangladesh.
4.From January to March 2024, I served as a Field Research Assistant at the Center for Natural Resource Studies (CNRS), working in the Mangrove Sundarbans region of Khulna, Bangladesh. I contributed to the Ecological Assessment (EA) and Detailed Scoping Study (DSS) in the Sundarbans Ecologically Critical Area (ECA), focusing on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and Locally Led Adaptation (LLA). My responsibilities included engaging with diverse stakeholder groups, conducting 90 focus group discussions in remote communities across nine sub-districts, and carrying out 200 key informant interviews with various resource users and government officials to support data-driven conservation and climate adaptation planning.
5.From August 2022 to January 2024, I worked as a Field Research Coordinator and Research Assistant with the Leibniz Center for Tropical Marine Ecology (ZMT), University of Bremen, in Moheshkhali, Bangladesh. My role involved collecting both qualitative and quantitative data from local island communities, government officials, and relevant authorities using structured and semi-structured questionnaires. I also conducted 32 in-depth interviews with small-scale resource users, employing the Q-method to understand stakeholder perspectives, socio-ecological dynamics, and community-based resource management practices.
6.From March 2021 to May 2021, I served as a Field Research Coordinator and Data Analyst at the Center for Natural Resource Studies (CNRS) in Teknaf Upazila, Bangladesh. I contributed to a study focused on updating value chains and developing intervention strategies to enhance the livelihoods of host communities in the Cox’s Bazar region. My responsibilities included collecting qualitative and quantitative data from diverse stakeholders involved in local agriculture, marketing systems, resource management, and public administration, through both online and in-person engagement with rural communities and institutional representatives.
7.From February to March 2021, I worked as a Training Assistant at the Center for Natural Resource Studies (CNRS) in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. I facilitated the training program titled “Market Development, Risk & Resilience Analysis” for government officials from six sub-districts of Cox’s Bazar. My role also included collaborating on the preparation of training manuals, managing pre- and post-training surveys, and supporting other training resources for approximately 250 participants throughout the program.
8.In February 2018, I worked as a Field Data Enumerator for Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) in Sitakund, Bangladesh. I was responsible for collecting quantitative and qualitative data from 350 households in coastal areas, using random sampling methods to engage rural communities across the Chattogram countryside, supporting research initiatives focused on local development and social action programs.
